I let i cook in my crockpot so i know that its done and that it will be really good?

Keep the crockpot setting on LOW. If you keep it on high for 7 hours it will either boil over or burn to the sides.

I've made great chili in the crockpot before. If you use canned beans it will turn out best, otherwise you risk having hard beans if you don't add enough water. However, following any recipe, you should cook the chili for 8 - 10 hours for the best flavor.

The longer you cook it the better it will taste. I would go for at least 8 hours in a crockpot. Its even better when refrigerated and reheated the next day.

It should be done after 7 hours or so, but the longer the better. And keep the setting on high the whole time to get the beans done.
