Bruising can be caused by several things. Check with your doctor about your coagulation tests such as Protime and Partial Thromboplastin Time commonly refered to as PT /PTT. You may also have weakend blood vessels which break easily.
Bleeding disorders are problems with components of the blood, such as platelets and clotting factors, that cause blood to clot when a person is cut or injured. Common bleeding or clotting disorders include:

Disseminated intravascular coagulation (DIC)
Idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura (ITP)
Lupus (systemic lupus erythematosus)
Cirrhosis
Hodgkin's disease
Malnutrition, such as deficiencies of vitamins B12, C, or K, or folic acid.

As long as you have been tested and it showed nothing is wrong, then nothing to worry. You need to be very careful not to bump in anywhere that is the only thing you should do.

I am with you in the same boat. I got bruises with very light bumps. It really does not look good but I am not considering it as a big deal. Alternate warm and cold compression can help to resolve the bruise faster. That is the only thing I do.

If you are still bruising easily, then you should go to another doctor, preferably a hematologist who takes care of blood disorders. Your hemoglobin may be low, which would account for the bruising. Dont know about the platelet count being ok.
