My beliefs as a Christian Witness of Jehovah have helped me.

I used to smoke, but when I learned God's view of this, I quit. That has helped spiritually, financially, and physically.

I feel much better about myself, and am not as shy as I was before becoming one of Jehovah's Witnesses. I used to be so shy I would hardly speak to anyone.

I also have gained a great deal of comfort from knowing what the Bible teaches, as well as having drawn close to God and his Son.

This is in addition to knowing what the future holds for me and my loved ones, and the earth and its inhabitants will finally be brought into the condition Jehovah originally purposed.

When I was religious it hindered my life. I was never able to accept things. I always thought that if I prayed a little bit more or if I was a better person things would work out for me. It left me constantly depressed because I always felt that I wasn't good enough even though I didn't drink, didn't smoke, didn't use profanity, wasn't jealous, went to school and did well, respected my parents, prayed every night, etc. I was always looking for some other "sin" to take out of my life. Eventually, I couldn't think of any more and it still wasn't working out. I didn't start enjoying my life until I became an atheist.

I would never change that.

Wow, my faith has only helped my life. Yeah, I use to drink and party and all that stuff, and I thought I was having fun. The more I did it though, the more bad stuff that happened and so on. Once I gave my life to God and truely started living my life for him, it has been great! my marriage is awesome and whenever I have a problem like all human beings, I take it to the Lord in prayer and the guidance helps me overcome it. I don't know what kind of person I would be without my morals and values. Problably an angry person like I was. My life isn't perfect, but I know no matter what, I have help.
