She should NEVER respond to his emails and filter out any email from this guy. If she cant filter him out she can avoid responding to him. The more she writes back, even if its to tell him to take a dive.., he will take it as a come on. Its just the way these specific type of guys think.

She should never say even hi to the guy on the street. It too can be taken by him as a come on or sign or encouragement.

At some point he has to give up. If not and things escalate - call the cops. They will give her the same advice. Stay away, don't write him back, don't call him, do not do anything that will encourage him.

Its impossible to stalk someone through an email, but he can harass her through an email. She doesn't have to say anything. What she should do tho is to block his email address so he is unable to send her messages or she can simply change her email address.

Save the emails, then change her email address. Its best to try and ingore it unless it escalates to him following her around in public or making threats.

She can tell him he's stalking her, and stalking is illegal...That if it happens again, she will go to the courthouse and get a restraining order against him. Then, If he tries to contact her again, the police will be involved.

your friend needs to change her email address and then give it out only to people she can trust.

Don't say anything, it only encourages his behavior.

Block his email address.
