Yes This is descriminatiion... and the reason i say this is because most of the accidents that do happen these days are done by young men,. either due to street racing, drinking and driving or even smoking dope and driving.
There should be an equal insurance rate when it comes to drivers under the age of twenty one and those that are older than that..
i am not saying that jacking up the rate is rite either i am just saying that equal rates for all undre the age and the same opposed to over the age. Drunk drivers well thats a whole different issue.

I know that this is going to upset lots of people and, yes I do understand what you're saying, but it would be called 'positive discrimination', this kind of discrimination we're told is OK, the reason that it's meant to be OK is that it's meant to balance unfair treatment in the past against this group of people. You'll notice that I'm not in my answer suggesting that I agree with any discrimination. Any person male or female should have cheap, fair insurance and only forfeit it if they drive badly.

The insurance industry already discriminates against us in many ways. They charge men more than women. They charge young people more than old people. They charge you more or less depending on the type ( not value ) of car you drive. Sometimes even the color will cause them to charge you more. Married people pay less than unmarried people. You might say that they discriminate against gays in that way.
They screw us and we have to take it. So bend over, grab your ankles, and say " yes mr. insurance man, I would like your services!" As if we had a choice.

any women only insurance has to have a male version
eg. sheilas wheels - Halifax/e-sure or diamond/elephant.
It is discrimination but if men didn't crash as much then it would be reversed.
So I blame the Boy Racers - DAM YOU ALL HA HA

No, it's only sexual discrimination when men try to exclude women, not the other way round. Just like Black Entertainment Television (BET) is okay, but WET would be sued.

It's no worse then the fact that men have to pay more for insurance.

All I know is the two time I've been hit it was all by female drivers that were on their cell phones. One ran a stop sign the other was almost head on.

It is sexist in the same way the MOBO Awards (Music Of Black Origin) are racist. Because it's limited to the "inferior" sex/race, people who otherwise would claim sexual/racial discrimination are quite happy to exploit their own sex/race for personal gain? Hypocrites, the lot of them.

I think that it is sex descrimination...because just because some men are mad people and others arent dosent mean we should all be treated the same by not being able to get insurance from certain places.
