I personally would like my husband to tell me if he thinks I look jacked up. On our first date I told my husband I like honesty and if my breath stinks tell me. I will only do the same. But you should do it with good taste. We don't wont to be embarrassed in a room full of people but we want to no what he thinks and what he likes to see us in. But for me in the end Iam a very confident person and I most ofter wear what makes me feel good. But i like to no that my husband thinks i look fat in a certain dress especially when I think I look good in it. That way when we go out and he see men flirting with me or staring i can smile and say I no you not worried I don't even look good in this dress remember.

I expect to hear the truth and I am strong enough to say, okay, it doesn't look great, what do I need to do to change it. If I don't look good, I want to know so I can make the adjustments so my man does look at me and think...dang that is all mine. I trust my husband 100%, he tells me when something looks good and when it doesn't look right.

I believe what he tells me but there was this one time I asked a boyfriend that I had at the time if he could change one thing about me what would it be and he didnt say weight or anything like that but he said the one thing I hated about myself. In my opinion dont ask a question if you dont want the real answer.

In my opinion, it isn't a good idea to ask that question to your husband or b/f. It puts them in an awkward position, and you may not like what they have to say. You are only setting yourslef up for a fight!! Ask your best girlfriend, they are more likely to give you honesty and you won't take it so personally!!

I always want my man to be honest with me if i look bad tell me you know don't have be going out looking crazy or a hot mess so yes i would want him to be honest with me even if it is bad lol

yes. i honestly would. i have a lot of guy friends and this comes up often. but if i look bad-please god tell me. i do not want to make a fool of myself and be a spectacle. It's like spinach in teeth or toilet paper on your shoe--tell me so i dont have to embarass myself.
