My sister is 36, beautiful, loving, kind, funny, creative, financially independent and ready in all ways to start a family. Is the mere mention of wanting children and marrage "man kryptonite"?

Yes...and as for the Kryptonite question ...Not at all...for alot of men...(myself included) the exact opposite is tru..if I meet a woman and she doesnt have plans of getting married or wanting children, I run the other way. Its just a matter of finding the right person at the right time.

Sure, there are lots of good, well-rounded, financially and emotionally stable guys out there. You don't find them in bars, though. Where is your sister looking?
I can think of 3 guys that I know, ages 31, 38 and 45, who all would like to find a nice lady and settle down, have a family, etc. but they wonder where the sane and sweet women are.

My friend is 34 and looking for the chance to start a family. He can't ever meet anyone who is mature enough. He comes over my house all the time because he loves being around my kids and loves hanging out with me and my wife. He says he wants a relationship like ours. Email the picture and I can pass it on to him if you like.

How about everything sans the children. This planet already has too many people without me adding to the problem. Why doesn't your sis consider adoption?

She sounds like a dream, but there is such a thing as compatibility, which should ALWAYS be present before marriage and kids. Tell her its to her advantage to make sure its there, before engaging in a full familial assault.

YES..BUT WE GIRLS TEND TO LIKE THE ASSHOLES.... def dont mention a family and kids to a guy unless you have been dating awhile..
