Buddhist follow the eightfold path that governs thier acts. That goes for the physical and spiritual sense of self and well being. I wil try and copy thier morals which can direct itself if questioned.

Right Viewpoint - Realizing the Four Noble Truths (samyag-dṛṣṭi, sammā-diṭṭhi)
Right Values - Commitment to mental and ethical growth in moderation (samyak-saṃkalpa, sammā-saṅkappa)
Right Speech - One speaks in a non hurtful, not exaggerated, truthful way (samyag-vāc, sammā-vācā)
Right Actions - Wholesome action, avoiding action that would do harm (samyak-karmānta, sammā-kammanta)
Right Livelihood - One's job does not harm in any way oneself or others; directly or indirectly (weapon maker, drug dealer, etc.) (samyag-ājīva, sammā-ājīva}
Right Effort - One makes an effort to improve (samyag-vyāyāma, sammā-vāyāma)
Right Mindfulness - Mental ability to see things for what they are with clear consciousness (samyak-smṛti, sammā-sati)
Right Meditation - State where one reaches enlightenment and the ego has disappeared (samyak-samādhi, sammā-samādhi)

*note* I have studied these principals before and each path to cleanse sufferring has deep details involved. I actually have a notebook that I made that breaks down most religions. And the details for these paths can be further explained. Basically, use Right Thought. This is from wikepedia.

i'm debating between polytheism and atheism. i imagine abortion might want to be professional-selection. there are this kind of large style of diverse elements in each and every persons existence. despite the indisputable fact that, if the international change into appropriate, having a baby can be a joyous party, no count number what (assuming both mom and fetus' well-being were sturdy), hence, the mummy might want to experience no shame or embarrassment and the fashion of absentee fathers might want to diminish assuming they could experience love and help, also about homosexuality-if that is the way nature made you, so be it. i'm with the Dali Lama-see you later because that isn't any longer abusive, stay and enable stay.

In my limited understanding, sex/homosexuality (really the same thing: Sex) are attachments and as such cause suffering. Both should be eliminated to obtain enlightenement.

Al things which cause pleasure (and suffering when taken away) are attachments and distract us from true joy.

Abortion would be Bad Karma. I suppose that there are circumstances that may mitigate the karma, such as the health of the mother, but I suspect that causing harm to another being either way is still bad karma.

Then again, killing animals to eat them is bad karma too.

So would be insulting someone on Yahoo Answers.

most Buddhists believe that sex is sacred, abortion is wrong because it is harming a human life. If they won't harm a fly, it's unlikely they would harm a human being. However, they also believe in compassion and forgiveness of all life, so I don't see them as getting too flustered with abortion. Point: they'd encourage going against it, but not stringently opposed to it and would not hate someone who does it if it was required in some way. As for homosexuality, I think it goes against common sense, male and female produces a baby, not m-m, f-f, but whatever, fun is fun and as the song goes, "i believe...that love is the answer."

what the hell kind of question is this? Id think that a Buddhist is more enlightened than to be a homophobic who hates abortion, as for sex some monks prefer to be celibate because the root chakra makes sex nonexistant.

I honestly can't tell you...but I'm sure it's not as strict as, say, a Christian's view...
