I don't know where you can get a ready made sauce but it is very easy to do on your own and you probably have some of the ingredients on hand already: Good Luck!
Chinese Spare Ribs

this recipe is soooo easy and sooo tasty you will not be disappointed. try it and see what you think.

4 servings 4 portions 1½ hours 5 min prep
Change to:
14 pork spareribs
5 tablespoons soy sauce
4 fluid ounces water
1 clove garlic, crushed
2 tablespoons dry sherry or rice wine
5 tablespoons hoisin sauce
1 tablespoon five-spice powder
1 tablespoon vinegar
preheat the oven to 190/375 gas mark 5.
place the ribs in a large roasting tin.
mix together all the ingrediants and pour over the ribs to coat.
cover the roasting tin with foil and cook for 1 hour.
remove the foil and baste the ribs.
increase the oven temperature to 220/425 gas mark 7 cook uncovered for 25 minutes occasionally basting the ribs.

Chinese supermarket. Look for Hoi Sin or Char Sui sauce.
Honey, soy sauce, grated fresh root ginger, grated garlic and five spice powder, splash of Chinese wine or dry sherry, marinade. Same difference!

My first thought was that it's solidified fat. BUT I'm a bit unsure about you reheating a chinese meal. I'm pretty sure the ribs will be pork, and it's a very easy meat to get poisoning from by not reheating it thoroughly. If you really want ribs, order more.

you have'nt said which flavour??? my favourite is scwepphes sweet an sour ribs..........it can be bought at all leading super markerts............you just mix it with water and cover you ribs b4 popping it in the oven...better than take away anyday!! good luck

ITS USUALLY A SMOKEY BBQ SAUCE. YOU CAN GET IT IN MOST SUPERMARKETS. HAVE YOU TRIED TO MAKE YOUR OWN. JUST MIX KETCHUP AND BBQ BROWN SAUCE TOGETHER, AND SOAK THE RIBS IN IT FOR A FEW HOURS.

you should find i in most supermarkets, tescos Sainsburys have it for sure, but you could allways ask your local chinese takeaway , they are sure to have it
