I used to live in the Carolinas and I know what you mean - sweet tea is so refreshing. Here you go:

3 cups Boiling Water
4-6 bags Luizanne tea bags (or Lipton but it must be black or orange Peko)
2 cups White Sugar

Place tea bags in boiled water allow to seep 4-6 minutes depending on how strong you like your tea - remove bags and add sugar simmer slowly stirring frequently until all sugar is disolved. Let cool and store in a clean jar in the refridgerator mix with equal parts cold water and serve over ice.
