I frimly believe in voodoo and hoodoo. I have been trained - see www.luckymojo.com for course info - and I practice it. I have had great results with friends and love spells. After I gave my friend a love drawing mojo bag, she found her fiancee! (After having BAD luck mwith men for 15+ years).
Hoodoo is based not on belief, but on the magic of herbs, oils, washes, etc. The magic is actually in the ingredients, a natural nature of them. So they work.
I believe, and have many friends who do as well.

RE:
DO you think a voodoo love spell will actually work?
There is a girl on this forum who has been asking for someone to perform a love spell for her over and over. Most people tell her it isn't possible to do this.
A voodoo love spell will actually work, I know someone who had a voodoo priestess help her do this. The guy fell in love with her,...

Something similar happened to my sister. She performed a love spell on her ex husband. He was very sweet to her. But he changed 360 after the spell. She ended up leaving him because he was obsessed with her. He would try to control her every move. Then happened for a while after she left too. It took awhile but the spell wore off and he moved on. They dont last forever, that is the good part.

Love spells definitely work. This is why it's not a good idea to cast love spells that manipulate another person's free will. Casting general spells to bring more love into your life is fine, but when you direct it at a specific person you can end up in deep trouble due to the threefold law - what you send out will come back to you threefold. If you truly feel you're MEANT to be with a person, it is imperative that you put a "disclaimer" in your spellwork so you don't manipulate their free will. That way if it's meant to be you'll simply be nudging it in your direction, not subverting another person's will and ending up in a situation like you described above.
Voodoo is not a path I would choose (though I make no judgements about those that do).
Blessed be!

I'm an Atheist, but I do know that voodoo can get nasty. I've read a lot about it, and I have done some research in New Orleans.
I'm not treading on ANYONE'S beliefs here, but I say be careful...

I think you answered your own question. You are right a love spell will work, but anytime anyone of magical persuasion manipulates others there are terrible repercussions for the client and the practitioner.
My advice always follow the basic tennents of the wiccan rede and the three fold law. It doesn't hurt to keep the principles of karma in your thoughts and deeds also.

I don't know enough about voodoo to answer that. Most spells will enhance feelings that are already there but can't make you love someone.

Yes, I have heard people doing that in different parts of Acadiana where I am from . They are called traiteurs, and my husband's great great grandmother used to be one. She cast spells that were good and bad, and some of them really worked.

I agree that any spell can work when performed by someone who is skilled in the art. Whether or not it is ethical is another issue.....for me, if it involves manipulation (with or without magic), it isn't ethical.
