This is the first time I hear about it, but it make sense to me that this name is forbidden in Islam. Let me tell you why...

Al Hameed is a name of the 99 names of Allah.
A person in relation to God, would be Abdul Allah, Abdu Al
Hammed, Abdu Al Kareem, Abdul Raheem..... etc
One cannot be anything to God except worshipper (Abd, Abdu)

Shah means king in persian.
If you add Shah to any of God's name, you'll get an inverted relation.

Don't worry. It's not haram. But why would you want to change that name? It is one of Allah's beautiful names.

It means king of the thankful, the one who praises Allah the most.
Better not to keep that name.

What are you talking about? What is so haram about that name? if it is your personal opinion why are you addressing it to Muslims?
