This question seems like it is for a school report and in order for you to get real anwers--you will have to do your research.

Israeli and Palestinian woman are mothers, sisters, wives and daughters but often seperated by religious and political beliefs--this is where you will have to do some reading by doing searches in Google.

You might find it interesting that the two groups of woman have created organizations calling for peace on both sides while others join the fight.

The glaring thing they have in common if they are living in the middle east--both groups are educated and prepare/hope for a future but both are prepared to and in some cases expect to die as the conflict continues.

That fact is sad because of the woman of both groups I have met--most just want to live their lives as woman everywhere.

Israel is the first western country to have a feemale Prime Minister (there is no president, only a figure head president) and this was in the 70's!!! her name was Golda Meir.

The palestinians also have women leaders (Hanan Ashrawi).

Israeli women are the best in the world, highly educated, free and good looking. They also rule the business world and the academy.

Palestinian women are mostly educated but the culture still has a way to go in terms of freedom of decision makind and family.

In both Palestine and Israel, when a woman gets a job its because she deserves it and not like in the USA when it is usually a position kept for women in order to be pollitically correct.

As an Arabian who lives in Israel let me say that basically there's no difference between the two. Every woman (Israeli or Palestinian) builds her personality depending on the environment she lives in. Just like any other country in the world, there are places that can't offer everything (poor areas) and places that can offer everything you need and more - and that goes to both Israelian and Palestinian territories. So the only difference I can think of is the environment each individual woman lives in.
Sometimes people see Palestinian women as these... poor "common" women who probably wear black or red clothes (like the women you probably see in the deserts in movies). I totally disagree with this... stereotype. The traditional clothes Palestinian women used to wear (key word - used to, unless they're living in the desert - and even then it's not that common) shouldn't be something to base any assumptions on.
To sum up, I'd like to say that I agree with Joseph (answer 3), eifes (answer 6), Love Thy Neighbor (answer 7), Naim (answer 8) and grammadebie50 (answer 9) and definately Crina.C (answer 10).
Both Israelian and Palestinain women have suffered loses in the conflect we're living. I tend to support the Palestinian side here (not everything about it though) since this side is still suffering (more than the Israelian side) because the injuries / deaths they face / suffer don't always happen as self defence or as a result of an act of war (meaning - women, children and elderly people are the ones who're getting killed).

I am sorry both replies are totally incorrect if you mean the difference between Israeli women and Palestinian women living
outside of Israel. If you mean the differences between Palestinian women in and out of Israel that is a different question.

They never bow. The educated Palestinian woman works outside her home, dresses like any European woman. It also depends if she is a Christian or a Muslim woman. The Christian
women have more freedom.

If its the comparison between al. women and Israeli (Jewish women) the Jewish women are free, work outside their homes (about 60%), many have higher education. But this comparison is not fair.

Well it depends on the aspects you are interested in.

It is important, however, to understand that the level of freedom a woman has depends on the family, religious, and cultural idealogy she belongs to.

Nevertheless, both Israeli and Palestinian women are very good looking. Most are educated at high-levels. To a large extent and in both cases, there are no state rules imposing any restrictions on women that are not present on men. An often misconception with dress-codes is that they are imposed on women.

Conservative Jewish, Muslim, and Christian women dress modestly based on their beleifs and not the state they live in. They will dress similar to any woman of a similar beleif in any other region of the world. Non-religious women in Palestine and Israel dress similarly to any other non-religious woman in the rest of the World.

Israeli and Palestinian women often work out of their homes, especially nowadays due to the need of the second-partner support to the economic means of a family. Also, women are very active participants in civil society and are often influential participants in elections in both countries.

In general, both enjoy the same freedoms of men in their respective states. However, in some rural areas, women's role outside their homes is limited due to the presence of a more conservative cultural context. Nevertheless, as far as the state is concerned, women in Palestine and Israel are treated equaly as men. This area ( Palestine and Israel ) is definately one of the most progressive and liberal atmospheres in the Middle East for a woman to live in.

We're all human being, mothers, daughters, wives and sisters...
We all want the best for our children and families
and if we were in power position, the situation would have never been what it is now, cause we, women, would have solved it long long ago!

Well, first off, just to state the obvious, both have vaginas.
Both are seen as second-class citizens.
That's about as much as I know.
Oh, and they can't legally buy things without the permission of their uncle, brother, husband, father, grandfather, ect.
They cannot drive a car.
They cannot order their own food.
They cannot show their shoulders or toes in public.
Their husbands can legally rape them and they don't have a say in it.
