1 1/2 avoccadoes with a little salt, pepper and lemon juice. 13 vegetable roasted ritz crackers, about a 3 oz chunk of sharp cheddar cheese and 8 oz tropicana oj? This was a "thrown together" meal, but is tasting really good. What do yo think of my lunch as fas as nutrition goes? Any recommendations?

The avocado sounds good, but instead of the crackers how about a corn tortilla with some grilled chicken, and instead of 3 oz of cheese how about 1 oz of low fat cheeze, swap the oj for water with lemon or lime.

Sounds good, but I would stick to no more than 1 avocado because they have a lot of fat. Also, try low-fat cheese, and add a little protein, like some nuts, or a couple hard-boiled eggs.

That's a great lunch, lots of protein and not too much "bad" fat. An avacado is one of the best foods there is. they will give you enough energy to last the day. I think that's what I might have for lunch now. mmm...

As far as fat content, probably high. But at least the avocados have the good fat in them.

But I'd eat all that in a hearbeat, sounds tasty!

Loads of fat and carbs, but very little protein. While I wouldn't call this a healthy lunch, it's certainly better than fast food.

yea that sounds really good for a 'thrown together' lunch. My lunch is a peanut butter sandwhich pretzles and chocolate chip coockies.

Sort of....I would starve to death eating that much though...Not too bad for thrown together though. I have eaten similar things when i've gone hiking before.

Actually that's great nutritionally...you have your bread and fiber and fruit and protien all in one meal...it sounds like it would taste awful though, but then so do lots of other great meals.
