I can't seem to find anyone who rejects God and the Bible that is willing to calmly and clearly explain why they believe what they believe without name calling or sarcasm. None who have not misunderstood something about God or the Bible.

You should expect that.

That's why Paul told Christians to be patient with all.

So let the Christians practise what they believe.

Never try to silence the atheist.

Let them vent as much as they want.

God is not shocked . Neither should we.

Not all are that way. I am not Christian but I like to think I am a very tolerant open-minded person. I feel that all religions are legitimate to the individual, as religion is about faith, not fact. No one is right or wrong. Each is just different. There are many paths that lead to the divine (whatever the divine may be for you).
People have so much trouble accepting that and it's rather sad.

Anyway, I hope I helped a little.

I do it all the time. Unfortunately, most believers reject cold hard facts, and get defensive about it, as it makes them highly uncomfortable. I see it every day.

Edit- In fact, I'd like to point out yet again that the majority of my respectful, honest, and to the point questions have been deleted, as I apparently was reported repeatedly for abuse. Anyone that's a regular here knows that I am a far cry from abusive.

Therefore, all I can say is, if you don't see any worthwhile arguments against your religion, it may be because your pals have gotten them deleted...

I studied Christianity at university-I know every flaw and contradiction in scripture and every controversy within the church and I reject Christianity 100% as being intellectually unsound. Sarcasm is justified-belief in Christianity stinks-it's rotten to the core.

It seems that nonbelievers are always being told that they are going to hell, so they get a little defensive. Wouldn't you?

I am agnostic. I do not reject God. I sure as hell reject the bible, however.

The very fact that they do not believe in God shows utter ignorance.Like all this just happened.

You obviously haven't looked hard enough.

Not to mention, most people on here are not good examples (there are very few of us).

I can say the same about Christians, but I realize that I'm smarter than that, and that there are plenty of people to talk to, you just have to open your eyes and your mind.

Unfortunately, it seems as though no one would be good enough to talk to you, so I'll reserve my discussions for people who will respect me, not talk down to me as you have just done....

That would be a fair assessment of a non-believer responding to a condescending christian.
