Dump that loser...if your birthday is not important to him then he doesn't value you and/or your relationship. So, unless he's planning to surprise you by making an appearance, party on girlfriend and find a new guy. Good Luck and happy birthday.

If he hasn't been in on the planning are you sure he new about it earlier? Also I know a gal who had this problem (40 years ago) and he left her his laundry to do as well (as going off for the weekend of her 21st birthday). She sewed the fly in all of his underwear closed. It was hysterical when he discovered it--he'd been drinking and couldn't find the fly. She broke up with him a couple weeks later. It is a decision you have to make--is he the kind of man you want to spend your life with or will your children think that is the way men are supposed to behave? Think about it clearly.

He could be winding you up!!!!! He may even be planning to ask you to marry him at the party and its all a big surprise!!!!!!! lol. Just go to your party, have a ball and dont let him know how much its getting to you. If a surprise from him doesnt happen, then dump him! Good luck and happy 21st mate!

Any little boy who chooses to go out with his friends over celebrating his girlfriends milestone birthday is a loser. Especially when he's known that you have been planning it for a year. Go ahead and have your party without him and maybe someone will bring a friend that is more suitable for you. Either way, you should dump the little boy and find yourself a real man.

lets not be too hasty here.....

he could be trying to pretend he isnt really coming and have a nice surprise for your birthday.

on the other hand he may not.

why dont you wait and see what happens at the weekend.

if he doesnt turn up then he obviously doesnt care and so then yes, dump him.

but just wait and see. my bf just played a similar trick on me saying that we were just gonna have an early nite and go out for a quick drink!! when we got out we did go for a quick drink, but he had also booked a restaurant too....

and i was prior to that - feeling a little naffed off as i thought he couldnt be bothered.

good luck

Sorry . . . go on and have a wonderful time! There probably are other men look'n at you that will treat you with respect. Sounds like your boyfriend is immature and IS NOT ready for a relationship. Don't waste anymore time. He is telling you you ARE NOT a priority. Don't settle for less than you deserve!

Dear god, there are so many people on here dating my ex boyfriend!

If you've been with him a year and your birthday isn't important enough to him, then that means you're not important to him. You've already wasted a year, so why are you going to waste any more time? Move on. Trust me. I've been there.

I think you could spend the time in remedial English and really benefit. Perhaps you could find a better boyfriend.

All I can say is "absolutely".. the stooge can go out with his mates anytime, and if he cant be bothered going to his gf's 21st he is worth less than ^%$# all
