Try something outside of the box to widen the scope of his interests. Maybe a good board game you two can play together. But, be sure to get him something from your list above. Visit the NFL website at www.nfl.com to see if anything strikes your fancy or visit the website for his favorite team to shop.

get a casino handheld game (if he/she has a handheld console). You could get a slot machine from Ebay and/or a hawiian shirt.
