I like to tell them I am in their religion too and talk their talk. Eventually I start telling them beliefs they have never heard before. When they ask about it, I act surprised and tell them they are not at that level yet and ignore everything I just told them.

I do the same thing except I cry "Oh no I've said too much! O great Dragon Master of Mormonisim please do not smite me!" and then I start sobbing uncontrollably and pawing at their neckties and bicycle helmet straps.

It's probably a little wrong, yeah. If I had been somehow convinced that a certain religion were true, I'd rather people told me how stupid I was being, rather than indulging my delusion. Don't try to preach to them that they're wrong or anything, just give them a friendly "piss off and get your head examined" and let them be on their way.

Totally disrespectful.
If they start a religious conversation, you can end it instantly by telling them you are an atheist and do not discuss religion.
You are not funny.
I hope if there is something you feel strongly about someone will disrespect you and your right to say it, think it or practice it.

Perhaps you are awakening them a little at a time. Perhaps they are awakening you. Keep up the dialogue. The dampening of your thoughts and their thoughts mixing will bring more truth. Eventually a possibility of healing will ensue. I am a Forgive Affirmed Spirit.

I don't see it being wrong. If they don't know their religion enough to see you are hoaxing them, then they shouldn't belong to it. You are just facilitating thought and there is nothing wrong with that.
