There was no actual time involved since time is a completely human concept made up to explain those things that are temporary. Since the forgiveness has eternal implications, infinity wipes out any temporal implications.

i think it was the instant that she was sorry for her sins.
i seen a show on discovery channel "the lost bibles" or something like that. they say that the male dominated church did not like the fact that when jesus resurrected he revealed himself to a woman and not a man. they did not think a woman was worthy of such an honor. the show brought up an interesting theory that maybe she was never a prostitute and the men just made it up so that she could not be better than them.
