not really. The percentage refers to the amount of fat in the milk. Maybe if you mixed 1/2 gallon of 2% with 1/2 gallon of skim, but don't quote me on that.

If you pour anything into a gallon jug filled with water you will be more concerned with cleaning up the spill than being a wise ***.

No. Just buy 1% milk, don't mess with your milk, you might introduce harmful bacteria
