I've been using Ubuntu for the past 4 days, I haven't opened up Windoze XP since then.. I'm having a blast, nearly everything is operational now, took some tweaking. Anyone out there like Ubuntu????

Two words: GNOME & debian. Why even use it if it is a debian distro with a GNOME desktop. You'd be better off staying with your windows box. You could use Kubuntu but it's still based on debian. Eventually everything will be redhat based OS's like redhat, centos and suse. Until then ubuntu is just something trendy that doesn't have alot of functionality. It is good for getting people interested in Linux.

YES!!! I'm also a big fan of Kubuntu which is a slightly different flavor but also quite nice. Ain't open-source grand?!

My only problem is that I'm not the only one who uses my computer and my wife complains whenever I leave Linux running and she has to reboot into windows because she just can't understand Ubuntu.
