my ex is on my mind, I have strong days where I hold my head up high and laugh about it but inside it hurts so much. I haven't felt this way before, will it ever go away? I don't understand how I can feel oh and then it just turns around.

I don't really know about you, but I spent a lot of similar time feeling that hurt. Finally I learned that I was giving away my power to something outside of me. I now treasure me and nothing outside of me gets the opportunity to change that....unless I allow it..
First sit down and write why some one should love you.If it feels true, then you could apply those reasons to yourself. Once you do it won't matter what anyone else does.

Trust me I've been there. Heartbreak can do a number on a person. But it does get better with time. The healing process for some can be faster than others. Don't rush things in trying to forget it, allows yourself to enjoy some of the memories. What you need is closure and for that to happen you need to accept the heartbreak and make a resolution to move on. In the mean time keep yourself occupied with friends, hobbies, whatever you enjoy that can make you light hearted. Good luck!

I know how you feel. I have "been there and got the t-shirt" this year. Some days are okay and some are lousy. It takes some time and strength. I would reccommned you fill the idil time with a new hobby or a class at the college. That's what I did. Then I found out there were other women interested in me. Good luck!

Even though I'm dating the most perfect person now the same thing happens to me with my ex from the summer. I think of him, seem to remember only the good, not the bad, and I cry. It sucks, and it'll only go away with time. Just try to remember why the relationship DIDN'T work and that you can't change people.

Also, listen to "I don't need a man" by Pussycat Dolls on repeat, lol

All I can say is it is gonna take time. And you really gotta suck it up. No more tears babe. Life is to short to be wasting them on something you have no control over. So keepholding your head high and find a new love. Believe me it is out there.

Sing Roberta Flack's song "I Will Survive" until you go horse...
I would also suggest reading poetry...it seems to make more sense after a break-up for some reason.

I know it feels like a knife in your gut right now but believe me it will get better! Surround yourself with good friends and before you know it you will have moved on!

Give it some time, and do some other hobbies, go shopping, go out with friends! You'll get over it soon!

You'll get over it when you meet someone else. Or take up a hobby. That'll keep your mind occupied.
