You can't . You just tell them how you feel and hope they can forgive you. Move on.* _*

Thats really hard to do. Considering if that person thinks that u love them and then finding out u dont is goin to be really stressful. But ya gotta do what ya gotta do. Just explain your feelings, sometimes if u cant explain a letter is the better way to go. Cause in this instance, its not what u say that matters, its how u say it. U want to make it as easy as possible. Just dont let that other person make u feel bad, its your feelings.... u cant ignor that.

I think the most important part of this, is to make sure they know they're still a valuable/lovable person.

I mean tell them about their great qualities and how "you're sure they will find the right person", but that it won't work out between the two of you.

I think the worst part of this issue is that you would make the person feel unlovable, not just unloved by you. Try to avoid that and you will minimize the damage.

Just break up there is no way that is not going to break her or his heart. Plus if that person is rude to you say, "It's not me it's you"
They can't force you to be with them just break up with them. It is for the best.

If they're in love with you... You don't. There's no way around it.

Good thing is though.. they'll take some time and get over it and move on. It's a part of life that 90% of us must go through.

If they are in love with you, it will break their heart. But I can't see the point in staying with someone you are not in love with. You are only prolonging and strengthening the hurt that is to come.

You can't. Sorry but it's going to hurt the same no matter what way you tell them because its not about how you say it, its about their feelings being hurt. However, you must follow yours too and if don't love someone, it is better to set them free. Good luck:)

It's not possible to prevent hurting someone when they're in love with you! But you can be honest and hope they will understand, that your just not in the same place emotionally as they are.

You aren't responsible for their reaction. They are. You are responsible for your own words and actions and should be honest but as kind and tactful as possible.

Rejection hurts...but it's also a part of life...say what you have to say to him and he'll feel how he's going to feel. He WILL get over it...

Just say it. There is no way to make it prettier or less painful. Even if you say it nicely or the "It's not you, it's me." thing - in the end he doesn't get you which is what he wants and he is going to cry.

While it is near impossible to do when someone is just crazy in love with YOU, it does help to say that he/she deserves to be with someone who loves him/her just as much, if not more, as they love that person.
