Yes their is a generation gap.Teen agers are very ambitious.But they do not have tasted that how bad is this world is.So everytime their parents refuses for their anydemand they simply blame the parents.They did not even think to find the reason.Some parents also impose their children.They do not want to change theirselves and think that they are right and their decision is the final dicision.Their is no proper equilibrium in parents and children which creates a generation gap.

The best way to get rid of this is that one must learn to compramise with other.

I most certainly do believe that there is a generation gap. And I also believe that it was present in my generation, today's generation, my mother and grandmother's generations and as a matter of fact probably since the beginning of mankind. It is part of the learning and growth of each generation and as we mature the gap narrows and we are more capable of seeing the other person's side and can actually agree on things.

I think there used to be, but my children are 33 and 28 and there is none between us.
I think its more a meetings of minds and staying young, but saying all that there is differently one between me and my mum .lol

Of course, and there always will be. It is normal in a progressive society. It is not a problem unless you create one by making it a negative.
