Mine: charging into the elevator before the people who want to get off can get off. The worst offenders act offended when you bump into them like it was your fault and how dare you be in thier way.

Thoughts on mine. . .what is yours?

When I open the door for someone and they dont say 'thank you' or acknowledge my consideration. Same goes for those I let into the flow of traffic.

My pet peeve is when you smile and say hi to a person and they glare at you and don't respond. Younger women do this the most. Men and older women are generally friendly.

My other pet peeve is when you pass someone on the highway and then they speed up to tailgate you or pass you only to get in front of you and go slow again. It's like they are pissed at you for passing them.

My last pet peeve is the traffic regulators. You know, the drivers that ride the fast lane so that people cant get around them in a feeble attempt to keep people from speeding. Hey, go to the police academy and become a traffic cop!

My biggest peeve is abuse of cell phones. The last time I was in a major airport, I was sitting at my gate area which was full of morons on cell phones trying to out shout each other. None of these conversations were about anything of importance. I don't know how many times I've been in Walmart, the grocery store or the mall and have overheard loud rude cell phone conversations that should have been held in private.

Rudeness in general:
not getting over to allow other people to enter the freeway

when the person behind me rams their cart into me in the line to pay for groceries in a feeble attempt to make me hurry up

when someone hogs the entire conversation not allowing others to tell their views

I could go on - but that's a starter

I have two and they both have to do with public transit buses:

1. When everyone charges ahead of you to get on the bus, like it's some sort of race -- YOU'RE NOT GOING TO GET THERE ANY FASTER, PEOPLE!!!!

2. When an elderly person gets on the bus and all of the young people don't get up to let them sit down! RUDE, RUDE, RUDE!!

When people lie about their golf scores; yes, it's a small, unimportant thing, but if they cheat there, they probably cheat at anything else which is extremely annoying also.

Your pet peeve is very annoying as well though.

Open mouth eating. We have lips for a reason.

Pigs and dogs chew with their mouths open, primates and marsupials chew with theirs closed. If a monkey can eat quietly, why do some people choose to sound like a cat coughing up a hairball?

Mine: I hate when i am in the movies and a person takes a call in the middle of the movie, and then has a full conversation with the person.
I hate when a person takes up two seats, one for them and they other for their bookbag on a crowded scholl bus

In parking lots, when other drivers are aggressive about wanting your parking spot and really crowd you, and then have the nerve to honk, when you can barely get out of the spot, since they are up your butt. Makes me wish I had an old crapper so I could bash their fender on the way out!

When people cut you off in traffic. We're all trying to get to where ever we're going. They are basically saying to you that they don't care about you, they only care about themselves. They want to get there first. If people did that while waiting in line at the movies we wouldn't tolerate it. But in traffic we do because we have no choice.
