preferably when ur married and ready to devote 100% of ur time to someone other then yourself or husband. if u are ready to take care of a child that means back and forth to the Dr. when the baby is sick or up half the night because the baby is up crying. just worrying about a child in this sick world it would have to grow up in is enough to question whether or not to have one! good luck w/ ur decision.

Well, I had my first child at 18. Although I was not financially ready, I would not have done anything differently. My third child was born last Tuesday and at 27 I am more adjusted with caring for her. I would say from 25 and up is the best time generally to have children.

I'm pregnant with my first at 29 and I'm glad I waited so long because I feel financially and emotionally stable. I think any age is good as long as you feel stable enough to handle the responsibility. My mum with 20 when she had me and she was and is a great mum.

I was 21 the first time, 24 the second and 26 the third. I wouldn't change it because I have lots of energy to keep up with them now, plus I'll be relatively young when they leave home.

I had my daughter at 27. At the time I didn't know if I was ready. It was actually the perfect time. I had sowed my wild oates and pretty much finished with the career that I was in at that time. I was mature enough to deal with the changes that were taking place.

I personally think anytime after college . . . so in the 20's. However, if you want to live a bit, (travel, have fun, explore) I'd suggest the latter 20's.
