G'day. Get yourself to your doctor, ask for a referral to a good psychologist. If you're really struggling badly, medication may be helpful, but remember that anti-depressants don't cure depression, they just mask it. Use medication as a stepping stone to other, more effective and lasting therapies, such as cognitive behavioural therapy (psychologist), relaxation techniques, there are nutrition issues, a whole bunch of stuff.
Find doctors/therapists/practioners that you're comfortable with. Good luck

Call your local Mental Health doctors to find out if you can get in to be evaluated as soon as possible or if you are feeling really bad go to the local emergency room as they have therapist there who can give you treatment now...
