Hi there...consider Nature's Miracle Just for Cats found worldwide at any pet store. It is an enzymatic neutralizer which breaks down urine proteins and eliminates odours after soaking the affected areas thoroughly and then allowing it to air dry. Repeated applications are necessary for heavily soiled areas. This works effectively at cleaning odours and stains deep underneath the carpeting when poured.

You don't say whether your carpet is wall to wall and installed over padding. Just like sofas, if that odor gets into the stuffing, or in the case of wall to wall, the padding underneath, spraying the surface with anything will only solve the problem for as long as the odor of the stuff you apply lasts.

If you have wall to wall, you are going to have to try to roll the carpet back from the wall to get at the padding. When we bought this house, I could tell where the previous owners kept their litterbox, because that is where the carpet smelled. To show the house, they had cleverly concealed an air freshener near the spot.

After spraying the surface more than once, I finally peeled back the carpet and dumped a half a bottle of Febreeze onto the pad. You could see the exact spot, because the underside of the carpet was stained. I dumped the rest of the Febreeze onto the carpet, from the bottom where the stain was. I left the carpet rolled back until the padding and the carpet had completely dried. I finally got rid of that smell.

It might be worth a try for you, if nothing else has worked.

Try the product Endover. You can find it at a carpet store. Or try one of the products from a vet's office that is for this purpose. Did you know that you can use a black light to see if your cat has had any "accidents"? I think you can also try equal parts of vinegar and water and blot it.

Use a product called "Urine Off". This works better than anything else I have ever tried. Do a search on the Internet to find a local retailer, (usually at a vets office) or order it on line. This product really works.

you need an enzymatic cleaner like natures miracle or simple solutions, you just spray them on to saturate the area and let them dry naturally, it gets down into the carpet and does the work by itself.

clean it up ya douche. it won't go away by itself. it's kinda like taking a dump in a toilet, it wont go away if you don't flush it.
