so my one yr old has had a cold for almost two wks, any advice to get rid of it.?

antibiotics do not get rid of a cold, nothing can get rid of a cold. u r soppose to wait it out. two weeks is a long time with a cold. maybe she caught two different cold strains one after another.

if lavall is an over the counter medication, u really need to stop using it because its not good to use otc meds for more than 7-10 days.

call her dr. and ask for advice on how to soothe her symptoms.

Take your Daughter back to your doctor, The doctor knows the symptoms and what Med's are best for her. Sounds more like the flu, wash your hands often to stop the spread on the illness, clean the sheets, see the doctor again and check if it is not the flu, give plenty of fluids and wait it out.
