PLEASE DO NOT USE THAT JUNK ON YOUR HAIR!!!!! As a hairstylist, I urge you to not use henna hair dye on your hair. It will be the biggest mistake. Henna hair color or henna compound haircolor is the worst type of dye to use. If, after having hennaon your hair, you should ever want to go to a salon and get your hair colored or highlighted, there's a good chance your hair will 'melt'. Henna is exteremly hard to get out. 95% of the time it has to cut off of the hair rather than just lifted with chemicals/lightener.
Think about it, if you put this on your hair, and it's not what you really want. What then? If you go to a salon to get it fixed and the stylist doens't know what you've put on yourself, BIG Trouble. Do you really want your hair to melt or be cut off? I'm not joking in any way.
My suggestion is to go to a salon in the first place. Talk to the stylist about deals on color. 9 times out of 10, they will give you a discount as being a 1st time client.
Please again, I urge you, do not use this stuff on your hair.

If it's brown, it isn't really henna. True henna comes in only one color - RED. What you probably have is compound henna, which contains a mixture of plant-derived ingredients, as well as some "mystery meat".
There are several different brands of compound henna, and the directions may be slightly different for each. Most just tell you to mix warm water with the "henna" and apply it to dry hair. There should be detailed instructions on the box.
