My cat got hold of a sparrow, bird has a broken wing, no other complications. No bites etc. It eats well and drinks well. It has had a splint on for several days. It's doing well. How long will the wing take to mend?

Maybe two weeks.

It takes three days to set, but I usually leave it on for a week. Hopefully the wing was in the proper place so it healed where the little thing can fly again.
If the cat broke the skin, it's recommended the bird be put on antibiotics to fight infection.
If the wing is swollen at the break and feverish, it needs to be cleaned with betadine (no alcohol or hydrogen peroxide) and the bird needs to go on an antibiotic.
Since you say it's eating and acting normal, all is probably well. Good luck and ask if you need more information.

Don't try and fix it yourself, you will likely set the bone wrong. Then since it was caught by a cat it needs to be on antibiotics as cat saliva contains a number of harmfull bacteria which will most likely kill the bird, often even when there are no traces of the cat bite the bird will die. You should bring it to a wildlife rehab center as soon as possible to ensure the bird has the best chance of survival. As well you need the proper liscencing.

I'd try to find a rehabber in your area. These sorts of operations seem like good ideas at the time, but I suspect the outlook is not very good.
