Holy cow! He's USING YOU! I think he stole your ring and sold it, using you for money basically. That or he lost it. Whatever the reason is that he "no longer has the ring", you know that he lied to you about it. Storming out of the house was proof positive that he's immature. When I put both actions together, I come up with one conclusion: either dump him (and insist on the return of the ring), or insist on the return of the ring and if and when he gives it back just use him for sex. Please cut your emotional ties with him, whatever you do, and don't let him steal anything else from you.

What situation are you requesting help on, retrieving you ring or to stay with this kid? BTW, he should hang out with his friends a lot, and he shouldn't show you affection all of the time because he is a kid. Nature will not allow this relationship to continue if you have to ask what should you do. As long as you stay wondering what you should do the more attached you will become to him because we are emotional and creatures of habit. Leave the kid alone lady...dang. He is just a kid.

Well, being 18 is a time when all guys think they are the alpha male and indestructible and, sadly enough, immune to female charms. Seeing as how he lost that ring should tell you how disrespectful and non-trustworthy he is to you. And lying to you? You think you should keep going with it? Naw, you shouldn't trust this guy.

that age difference seems extreme to me, especially since he's only 18. You're old enough to be his mother! He's obviously not a mature adult yet, no matter if he acts like it sometimes. Has he even graduated from highschool?

He's a kid...if you want to play with a kid, that's fine. Otherwise, move on up to guys more your age, maturity level, and life experience.
He's barely an adult...he's still figuring out what he wants to do with his life...you're well into yours (or should be). I can't imagine y'all have much in common...

Girl, we're the same age and if I was in your situation, I would just use him for sex and get a thrill out of teaching him a thing or two. Don't get hung up on this little boy, please.

this should be a "DREAM" come true for him! If he is not mature enough to realize his chance to expand his knowledge with you both mentally and physically, then you need to get on with your life and find another young man to share your time with!
