not like we have just met, have been a couple for 4 yrs i want to be part of something w/her, charging me that kind of rent is hi, when i could use the money and have something to show for it what do u think?

It should be 50/50 for rent, bills, etc. If the bills cost 3000 then you should pay the 1500. But I wouldn't pay all the bills - no more than half.

What is her full house note or rent? Is what she's charging you (assuming you live together) half the note or more than half? I can see splitting the bill (or if that amount was half the note and half the utilities) but if she's making a profit off of you, that's not kewl.

However, she's not obliged to support you...relationships are partnerships...you should be expected to pay half the bills if you two are living together, or do something(s) that would equate to half of the support of the household.

if you are living together you need to share the expenses so pay it.
