Becareful here, you're sounding a bit hateful yourself.
Perhaps it's really only zealots who are the troublemakers?
I'm sure you don't really want to impose a sterotype on an entire culture JUST because they're a member of that culture.....do you?
And why would YOU lose an account if someone else was misbehaving?
Just report people you find abusing the site... be SURE they're really abusing... don't become the Yahoo! Answers Police.
Blessed Be

The category is Religion & Spirituality not Christianity. I don't understand why there is so much negativity coming from some Christians to those of other beliefs.
However I have had the opportunity on here to communicate with intelligent Christians who are willing to have a logical discussion with no childish name calling and such. I have actually learned a lot from a couple of them (hopefully they can say the same), so the board is not hopeless. Some of them have even apologized for the behavior of the bad seeds. Just goes to show that you can't use the one to judge the whole.
Seriously some people really need to open their minds just a little bit and accept that their belief system is not the only one in existence. How can they expect us to begin to share their beliefs after enduring their ridicule and the showing of their collective butt? (This applies to christians, atheists, agnostics, pagans, wiccians...and so on)

I do not understand how people can still lump a whole group by a few. True Christianity is not about hatred and ugly statements. We do have freedom though. Freedom of speech. I have had very ugly answers to my questions. I have been told to shut the f up. I just consider the ignorant source and feel sorry for someone that is not tolerant. I never said that I was right. What I know is that what I believe is right for me. I hated God very much. He forgave me. Thank goodness that He is in control of History. Just because someone says that they are Christian does not necessarily make it true. Anyone can say anything. They just may want you to have a bad view. Who really knows?

A lot of people on this site have been rude. It has not just been Christians. I know many Christians have had their fair share in the abuse, but they are not the only ones. You should report all ignorant and hateful remarks regardless of what people believe. I'm sorry if anything I have said has offended you in any way. God bless you.

I haven't seen any hatred and bigotry coming from Christians. Quite the opposite! Hateful remarks? Three fingers pointing back at ya.

It sounds to me that you are the one who is being intolerant and hateful. You are also board-brushing all Christians on this site. That's not fair. Can you not allow people to say what they think? I as a Christian hear many make fun of God and Jesus but I do not try to get rid of them. I would rather try to win them over with kindness but I will not compromise what I believe is true.
God bless you also and I apologize if any hurt you in the name of Jesus. They may not be true Christians or they may be extremely immature Christians.

Everyone is responsible for their own actions and behaviour, even Christians. If the action and behaviour is full of hatred and bigotry then we can assume the person is not a true follower of Jesus. The Lord Himself has instructed His faithful to not return insult for insult and evil for evil. Jesus instructs His flock to be loving and kind and to remain truthful. Anyone who does otherwise is not a true believer in Jesus. Our Lord also instructs His faithful to not agree with certain beliefs that are not His. If this reply offends you, I am sorry.

Where is the hate? Have I missed that? I have seen one person on here claim to be christian and I have seen their arrogance and it bugged me- that is not what a christian is. I have come here to share the Truth of God with others. Because I care what happens to others. I think many christians on here feel the same. If there are people on here proclaiming to be saved and have done nothing but condemn and judge people with self righteousness and arrogance- well that makes christianity look really bad, and please know that is NOT what God wills. They are not following Christ. Many will come saying they are christians- when really they are mocking it and trying to turn it against those who do not believe- This is Satan's tactic. I hope you will see that there are christians on here who do care- and who love sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ with others.

When a Christian asks a question, he or she gets about fifty hateful remarks from people who hate Christianity. I have seen very few such remarks from Christians, but many from non-Christians.
So here's my question: Why do the non-Christians have to be so incredibly hateful to Christians?
All you have to do is go through the religion section, look for Christian questions, and you will see a bunch of hateful remarks against us.
