Not unless there is an absolute evergency that he/she has to know about. It better be important though. Otherwise it is just rude and shows poor work ethics on his/her part if she stops her work to answer the phone. John and I have been together for 3 years and we still don't bother eachother at work. The only time I really called him during work hours was to tell him that I needed to go to the hospital when we were having a baby. Really, I think that is it.

Not without them having told me it was okay to do so...unless I REALLY needed to reach them and after work was going to be too late. Even then though, a text message or email would be a potential alternative to calling and disrupting their work day and possibly causing an issue if personal phone calls are frowned upon in their workplace.
I'd never abuse that priviledge though, and even with permission would keep work-hours calls to a minimum.

Only if they asked you to, or you had spoken with them about calling at that time. Personal phone calls should be avoided while at work unless they are of an emergency or urgent nature. There are plenty of other times during the day when you can speak with them.

No no don't ! You'll just scare her away! A month is too soon to pry into her private life, and one's workplace is sacred! She might feel like you're getting too close without her permission.

Yes, if they worked in an environment where it was acceptable and I didn't want to talk for a long time.

NO, unless it was a life and death emergency, I would NEVER call anyone at work just to talk

Only if he specifically asked me to. I personally frown on this practice. I tell people not to call me at work.
