I live near the Cedar Bayou Lodge. I just need to find a Mason who can talk to me about the next step.

It is actually quite simple. Just call them and ask to speak to someone about becoming a Freemason. I don't personally know any of the brothers at that lodge, but almost all lodges are very welcoming for people who are interested in joining. Just give them a call and arrange to meet with some of the officers.

You can get the phone number from the website for that lodge at:

There are no real secrets and strategies approximately Masonry anymore, you will hit upon out each thing on the internet aside from what is going on interior the employer assembly. That relies upon on how plenty money the hotel has, some do lots of charitable artwork and a few do little, Masons are no longer all wealthy, I honestly have individuals in my hotel who're college scholars and truck drivers as nicely as docs and attorneys. in case you relatively desire to appreciate the certainty approximately who those persons are, I recommend you circulate to a hotel and share a meal previously a gathering night.

Sounds like you've made up your mind, but I would really advise you to re-consider.
