Your friend is a typical male, and his wife...well, it's hard to say because a lot of things affect a woman's sex drive. For example, women who have had children generally have a lower sex drive than those who haven't, and women who are less physically active generally have a lower sex drive than women who get enough exercise (of course, there are exceptions to every rule). Maybe he could do things to get her in the mood, like holding her or kissing her in a non-sexual way. If he only shows affection to his wife when he wants sex, she may feel emotionally neglected. Most women need regular reassurance that they are still loved, that they are still needed, that they are still wanted, and yes, that they are still sexy. Another option would be an inexpensive weekend getaway -- some people really have problems with sex when all the issues of day-to-day life are staring them in the face. Something to think about anyway...

"why is it significant for some to sell the theory that there are no longer variations"... reliable question that pertains to a good number of subject concerns on right here. interior the countless quest to coach exactness or superiority via one gender or the different, emphasizing inherent difference seems to be verboten. Hormones play a key place in organic and organic variations interior the sexes and it might look logical in evolutionary words that adult men, ordinary, might have bigger intercourse drives than women folk, ordinary. All we ought to do is comprehend that we are animals and if we glance to different animals, we see the right comparable phenomenon. men can mate and reproduce many cases in one day; women folk can reproduce as quickly as a month. it might make no experience for women folk to have bigger intercourse drives than adult men whilst intercourse is, physiologically speaking, for reproductive purposes. That it is likewise enjoyable is secondary to this organic and organic crucial.

All I can add here is that I hope your friend is using a penis health creme. These are made just for guys who masturbate a lot and help protect the penis from irritations and even a loss of sensitivity. I just started using one a few weeks ago and it really helps. No more chafing and dryness... so I am ready when my wife actually wants to have sex, which sadly, is not very often. Tell your friend I feel his pain.

I've heard it said that women need a reason to have sex. Men just need a place. A good sympathetic counselor might help this couple find a compromise and teach them how to work thru this dilemma. Marriage and relationships involving sex are seldom easy. Both members need to be interested in finding a mutually compatible solution.
Good luck and God bless!

Low libido (low sexual desire), is a very common problem for many women after childbirth or for those on birth control. It can also happen to young women or women of all ages. The cause is usually a hormonal imbalance.

What's he doing OUTSIDE the bedroom with his wife....some women want to be courted....maybe he needs to be doing little non-sexual things with and for her.. it helps to recreate the romance. Send flowers for no reason, tell her daily how beautiful she is and how fortunate he feels to be married to her. Help out around the house (laundry, dishes, with the kids, etc.).
These little things add up to a woman feeling attractive and appreciated---may just boost her libido.

Since the beginning of time men have paid to have sex with women while women rarely if EVER have to pay to have sex with men. When considering mismatched sex drives this historical fact can be a useful point of reference.
Of course women say and do all kinds of ridiculous things to draw as much attention to themselves as possible which can often cloud the underlying biological facts.
