Want to make a good impression? ( and I think you do) Invite him over to your house for a meal that you have prepared. You do know that the shortest route to a man's heart is through the stomach, don't you? Go to the market together. Ask him right to his face what he wants to eat. Then, prepare that. What a wonderful time both of you will have. Don't give little trivial things wrapped in Christmas paper. That will soon be forgotten. A meal will linger in his mind for a long time. ( especially if you cook together)

Well, first see what he's into, if you feel like things will go further, you can get him a pricier gift, like an ipod. If he's a sport's junkie, you can get him a nice fitted hat or jersey with his fav. team, if he's a drinker, get him a set of shot glasses or beer mugs with games or something.

If you feel NOTHING fits this guys, get him a watch, if he doesn't wear watches, get him nice sunglasses or fav. cologne, if he doesn't wear those, get him friggin socks!! LOL j/k.

If all else fails, buy him a gift card to a sport's store, take him out to his favorite restaurant, or try to find tickets to a concert/movie/football game/etc. Good Luck.

How old is he? What does he like? Knowing he's male isn't really much to go on.
