i cant do it anymore.
she has like, severe personality disorder, i swear.
she is only mean and evil to me, for NO reason.
she says the meanest, nastiest little remarks to me and only me.
we used to be friends (kind of) but i started hanging out with her other friend at work, and i guess she's really jealous (thought i was taking her friend away from her??) I am in my 20's, she is 30 and is acting like this!!! Like a little kid!!!
she is making the workplace really uncomfortable for me (only me)
i've tried to talk to her but it doesnt work.
i dont want to to the the boss becuase we are adults and should be able to handle this on our own.
but it's not working.
all i want to do is punch her in the mouth.

Take a deep breath. Your venting here may help. It sounds like you are working for a woman I used to work for (except for the age). There is a book called, "The Art of Intimidation." It has some good advice. The movie, "How to Succeed in Business, Without Really Trying," is funny, but has good points. The BEST thing you can do is follow the old Roman epithet, "Illigitimae, non Carborundum." Don't let the bastards wear you down. The more you smile and are cheerful and do your job well, the more it will drive her nuts. When I was in the Navy, we had a 1st class petty officer who was like that. We ALL got together to get rid of him. They wound up taking him off the ship in a straight jacket. But that was a team effort, so I don't recommend it. Remember, God loves you and that He will give you strength.

talk to her supervisor or file an uncomfortable work environment law suit against your company and name her as respondant. Have you talked to your supervisor about her ? If not then do so now cause I had a lady I worked with once and she kept asking me if i had washed my hands everytime i left the ladys room well i had finally had enough of it and talked to the supervisor (office manager) she did nothing to correct the sittuation so I said let it go . Then i managed to just leave but someone told me that i could have filed that lawsuit against them since the owner of the business told me he could not fire her cause she had been there so long . Which i found out later that was b.s....But you see you can file if you want too. good luck and god bless and happy holidays.

Women can be really petty and childish like that (and they say us men are immature!)
Maybe you could get her alone in a corner of your job where it's just you and her, and tell her if she keeps messing with you that you will bust her in the mouth and slash her tires! Make sure nobody overhears you (and that the chick doesn't have a tape recorder on her or something).
If the b***h knows you're serious, she'll never mess with you again.
And if she goes crying to HR, then you can deny you ever said anything (as long as there's no tape and no witnesses) - it's your word against hers!

My girlfriend is going through something similar at her job. She was recently promoted, and now one of her co-workers (who wanted the job, but was not experienced enough for it) gives her crap all the time and undermines my girlfriends authority in the office (she is now in a management position).
I recommend, if you feel that this woman is harrassing you or not treating you fairly, that you go to human resources at you job and speak with them regarding the issue, but you might want to go to your boss first and give him/her a heads up about what you are going to do.

Yeah go to the boss. Talk to him/her about this and write down what and when she said her remarks. And hand it over to the boss.
That is more mature than beating the tar out of her.
