The address on my driver's license does not reflect my current new address. How do I get a Notary Public to attest my current address as I am going to be using my driver license as a form of picture ID for an upcoming certification exam

I think it would be easier to just update the address on your driver's license. Where I live it costs $10.00 for a duplicate license. You have to show proof that you live at the new address. Some of the proof they will accept is mail that has been sent to you at your current address--from official sources such as the utility companies and such.

Notary Publics don't verify your address. They verify that the person signing a document is it person they claim to be. I agree with whoever said to update your drivers license. Another option may be to use a current utility bill or bank statement.

A Notary Public cannot attest to the truth of your address. They can only witness the fact that YOU have sworn that your address is what you say it is.

Why not get your DL updated? They would give you a receipt indicating you changed your address. But in the mean time...take a utllity bill(or any other papers) that states your current address.

Just get the Licence updated if you have enough time. Otherwise get a utility bill that shows your name and address or a statement from your Doctor or a Lawyer.
