Yes. I know a bunch of people who met this way and eventually got married including myself.
When you meet on the internet, you can get to know a person from the inside out rather than the outside in. You're less hung up on what they look like and more on what kind of person they really are. You get to know the real person, not just the outter shell.

The real foundation for a couple to have a good relationship is honesty. The temptation of online relationships is to not be entirely transparent and honest, because you can hide behind a monitor and keyboard.
Is it possible? Yes - but both parties have to, from the beginning, be committed to being completely honest with each other. I know two couples that started on the net and have gotten married...but I wouldn't say it's common.
Best to you.

Providing that both parties are free from other relationships. Completely single and available NOT seperated or rebounding. It is vital that the relationship not hastily move into the realm of Sex be it real world or cyber. The pace must be cautious. Internet relationships have a tendency to build pace fast but without the staying power behind it. So, if you can transition it to the real world in a timely fashion ; it has a small chance of success.

How can one have a relation on the internet? You can get to know on the internet - then get to know each other in person and it may certainly lead into something good. Just having a relation on weekends and the phone is hardly a good thing - but if you only write to each other on the internet - what good can it be?

I believe so, My hubby's best friend met his wife through the Internet and they have been together for almost 10 years. Some people are negative about that sort of thing due to some ignorant people but I believe it can work. go for it.

Depending how sincere and open both people are with each other. I have to admit I'm not a believer of internet dating but it worked for a cousin of mine, She's now happily married and lives in Italy with her hubby and baby.

Generally speaking I would say no but there are exceptions to every rule. A good friend of mine met her husband online. They've been happily married for years and have a daughter.

YES! I met someone online 9 years ago and we met and have been together ever since! We've had our ups and downs, but that's what relationships do - they are always a work of love in progress!

Unless you're hardcore religious and won't have sex till marriage. It's just too hard.
Plus if you're having a long distance relationship (overeas), where will you live if you decide to marry.
Don't get me wrong, it's do-able, but you'll need to have a few serious chats for it to evolve and work out.
