when i was 13 i stopped going to school cos of problems with my dad. i was always getting headaches and feeling sick and i had massive panicattacks just before going to school and the night before. i also had thoughts of suicide but i just ignored them and after a few months they went away.i'm now 16 and i was alot happier but now my mum has got me into a certificate course at a college. i told my mum i would do it but now i've been getting the headaches and the panicattacks again and the other night i started cutting myself and the suicide thoughts are back only much worse, im trying to ignore them only i cant. i really dont know what to do. i would talk to my mum but lately she been ill and even if she wasn't i dont think she'd be able to help me. she would say some speech that would make her feel better and make her think everything is ok when it's not. i dont want to hurt my mum by letting her lose another child but i dont really want to live
i dont know what to do please help!

i went to councelling when i stopped going to school and that didn't help, she only helped me realize what the cause of my problems was not the solution. i was paranoid and having trouble dealing with my grandmother's death since we were so close and the reason i cant trust anyone after the troubles with my dad.

You need professional help. Talk to a counselor in your school---they will help you talk to your mom and get you into therapy right away. You're afraid of something and that's why this happens. You need to find out what you are afraid of so that you can learn how NOT to have panic attacks and consider suicide as your only options.

I am really sorry for you. You love your mum so much and you think of not hurting her although you are feeling so bad yourself. You can't handle the situation anymore if you think about suicide. You must get close to someone you trust. A friend, a family member and, undoubtedly seek professional help. A councillor at school could probably indicate the best way and put you in contact with a therapist.

i'm so sorry you feel like this. I get suicidal and cut myself when things get too stressed. The only thing I can suggest to you is to go and see your doctor. There is medication that could help in the short-term and they may be able to refer you to a therapist who can help in the long-term.
All I can say to you now is good luck with whatever you decide to do, things can get better and asking for help is a sign of strength not weakness. Letting this beat you is being weak and I get the feeling you're not that.

You have really had it tough. I can only suggest you see your doctor and tell him/her - or if you feel you cannot explain directly, print out your question and show it to them. It sounds as if you need serious counselling and they will be the best way to find someone to help you.
In the meantime, one small aid for panic attacks is 7/11 breathing; breathe in while you count to 7, breathe out while you count to 11 at the same pace. Do this at least 8-10 times, and you really will feel a little calmer and more settled. If you can do it 12-15 times, it will work even better.
I send you my best wishes and prayers.

You need to seek medical help right away. I have had panic attacks in the past. I know that they are very scarey, as a result of your panic attacks you have developed severe depression. There is better way out of this dark cloud other than killing yourself. Reach out to someone you can trust to help you get help. Go to a church fo guidence and also go to the emergency room at the nearest hospital to get help, right away. You are sick right now but you WILL get better. I know, I have been there. Right now you think that all is helpless but that is not true.... YOU CAN GET BETTER IF YOU TRY!! It's time for you to be your own hero.....save yourself by getting help right now, please just do it you will be glad you did.

You have some deeper issues that need to be addressed professionally..their is always help out there..how about a hot line that would even help..I'm begging you not to do this and if I'm a stranger who cares then there's always someone out there for you...

listen chick go and chat to your GP. this sounds a lot like panic disorder, which i also suffered from. but it can be treated!!
it might sound scary, but a course of anti-depressants can work wonders. ive been taking them for just over a month now, and have only had one major panic attack (whereas before i was having one or two a day).
you dont have to suffer like this chick. there will be a lot of people on this board that will tell you youre mad or crazy or whatever, but i know thats not true. get help - you dont have to suffer like this. there are so many things that can be done. please please talk to someone.
good luck. this will get better.

Don't Suicide! It is not solution.
If you feel sick going school/college then talk to your class-fellows and teachers. They may call your parents. Thus, your parents will really take that matter seriously.
