fsm may have started out as a joke, but tragically, there are many impressionable minds out there who actually believe the fsm to be our creator. All fsm is is Bobby Henderson's way of saying that if Intelligent Design is allowed to be taught in schools, along with evolution, that all other alternative beliefs, such as fsm, should also be allowed to be taught in schools.Although fsm is just a made-up story by an overactive imagination, it is the "pastafarian's" way of making fun of God,and their way of saying that God as our Creator is just as unbelievable as the fsm religion. It is a blatant display of blasphemy, and totally insane, and I,for one, have lost all respect for anyone who says "ramen" and "bows to his noodley appendage". If it weren't so stupid,I"d actually find it almost amusing that those who say they are intelligent, and those who are always telling Christians,or any other religious people to "read a book" or educate yourselves", would actually let themselves fall to such low levels of childishness, unreason, and absolute absurdity. It is just simply incomprehensible to me how anyone, especially of even average intelligence, can sink to such degenerate and despicable behavior. I actually had high respect for so many here, even though they didn't believe in God as I do,because their questions and answers were thought provoking and intelligent, but that respect has been obliterated by their balatant display of disrespect for what I believe.

The Flying Spagetti Monster is a Creature made of spagetti with eyes and many noodly appendages that flies. Some say that the creation of the heavens and the earth is better explained by the Creation Account in the Bible in Genesis than thru Scientific Explanations and Evolutionary Theory. However, others say that the Flying Spagetti Monster (FSM for short) is just as good an explanation as that found in Genesis or in any other religious explanation. Ramen is the Japanese word for "noodles".

The Flying Spaghetti Monster is the deity of the Pastafarians. His Noodliness is invisible and made up of two meatballs surrounded by noodly appendages. We believe that He created the world by waving his noodly appendages to create trees, mountains and a midget, from whence all life sprang. We believe he is a benevolent spag-deity who touches everyone with his noodly appendages. According to the Pastafarian belief system, pirates are "absolute divine beings" and global warming is due to the decrease in the number of pirates. Saying "RAmen" is our way of reverencing the noodly one when we finish praying.
Actually...
The Flying Spaghetti Monster is the deity of a parody religion founded in 2005 by Oregon State University physics graduate Bobby Henderson to protest the decision by the Kansas State Board of Education to require the teaching of the supernatural theory of "intelligent design" as an alternative to the scientific theory evolution. In an open letter on his website, Henderson professes belief in a supernatural Creator that resembles spaghetti and meatballs called the Flying Spaghetti Monster, and calls for Pastafarianism to be taught in science classrooms. He asks that if one supernatural theory should be taught, that it is only fair that other supernatural theories based on science are taught, namely that the Flying Spaghetti Monster created the world.

It's a social statement made by an atheist, showing in stark relief just how ludicrous it is to teach unfounded and untested creation theories in schools, simply because a popular religious group demands it.
This genius parody eloquently mimics the Christian creation myths, making the same unjustifiable claims as the Christian bible, but substituting "God" with a "Flying Spaghetti Monster". In this way, it shows just how ludicrous it is to call these creation myths "science". And the author of the FSM page has demanded of various school systems, that if they do pass laws demanding that creationism be taught in schools, that "Pastafarianism" be taught as well.
There is yet to be heard a decent argument against this demand. And for that... I salute him.

it is referenced plenty at right here to counter the god references. Like "Why do no longer you have faith in god because of the fact he has accomplished plenty for you!" nicely then we are saying "Why do no longer you have faith interior the FSM, he has accomplished plenty for you"! Make experience?
