I’m 4'11" and 500lbs my life dream was to be an airborne infantryman the asshole recruiter said I was to fat I said THEN WHAT CAN I DO!! he says petition the dod for a new mos "building breaker" so I can just jump out of the plane destroy the building and not risk the life’s of fellow soldiers with fire or impact from a bomb. he says it would save lives.........I'M PISSED, ALL I WANT TO DO IS SERVE MY COUNTRY..... loose the wight. The military is not a place they want someone that is going to fall over with a heart attack. They want people that are healthy to begin with. You would not be able to run the obstacle course. That is running, climbing, crawling...and you have to keep up with everyone to do it. I would not even be able to do it and I am a much lighter weight.
Get healthy weight and then try it. Dont blame the military....blame yourself for getting to the weight you are in.

As a former Airborne officer, what do you think is the military's fault? The fact that you weigh as much as a Hummer or that our planes doors aren't wide enough to fit your 3X butt?
