i didn't know worms stung.

I'm not sure if this is the worm that stung your son or not, but there is a worm called a fire worm that stings its prey to paralyze it. Perhaps your son accidentally made contact with this worm and startled it into stinging him. I doubt your son will have any lasting effects. But if any problems arise, please take him to a doctor.

A worm? They dont have stingers, or even eyes for that matter. What did the bug look like?

I have never heard of stinging worms take the lad to the Doctor just to be sure

are you sure it was a worm? i never heard of a worm stinging anyone. if he has no rash or swelling or itching or tenderness i wouldnt worry about it. but please descrivbe the worm or worm like thing that stung him? contact me through my e-mail or instant messanger. have a great day.

Could it be a centipede. I've heard they can bite.
