Mirrors. Pictures. Other people. The weird thing is, you never really know what you look like. You never get to see what others see because the only points of reference you have are reflections, all of which are distorted. Mirrors show you yourself in reverse. Photographs are never exact duplicates of reality. Lighting & colour can make you look very different. You can't always rely on other people either, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. It's subjective. What one may find pretty, another may not...so all you can do is make an educated guess, based on the evidence you have.
You can usually tell if you're pretty though. You always get your way. People smile at you. Babies reach for you. Men whistle & hit on you. If your in reasonably good proportion, symmetrical & aesthetically pleasing you're probably good to go....
Wait a minute, this wasn't the philosophy section was it? Sorry I'm babbling! Tee hee!
How do you know if you're pretty? Ask a toddler. They're brutally honest. They'll tell you if you are or not.

The fact that you needed to ask means that you are not a pretty girl. I'm sorry but we get told all the time that we are pretty and if no one is saying this to you, then chances are you are not pretty. Thank you.

Check in a mirror. Compare what you see with there what you see when you look at other friends that people say are pretty. If you look good by comparison you are pretty too.

I don't how.. but appearance really that important? Aren't we supposed to be content with what we have? Why so bother about your look? A guy who really like you will not only care about your appearance! The most important thing is what lie inside you.. Don't be too annoyed by the look and don't judge the book by its cover!
