Camera cleaning...?

My zoom knob (moves left and right) is kinda sticky, from what I'm not sure. What would be a good way to try and clean it out?

take apart and clean with rubbing alcohol, let air dry thoroughly.

Take it to a pro, don't do it yourself as you will probably screw it up.
