did someone bother you? threaten you, if you told, and what do you do if you know a child may be suffering, but the child doesn't know you figured out what may be going on?

Well, I was sexually molested for 8 yrs and almosted raped by my father. Your child will be giving signs. I reached out for help in my school when I was in elementary school, but nobody believed me because I said rape instead of molesting. I was like 10, I knew that it was close to the same, but different. Nobody believed me, and nobody did anything to help me. I kept on telling my mom and she ignored it until my dad told her and she asked him if he would do it again. He continue for 6 more yrs. Your child will try to connect with the person who is molesting them, by trying to make them happy, by not telling anyone about it. Please call a sexual abuse hotline and let them give you the signs of this.

When I was in fourth grade I was getting threatening letters in my locker and creepy phone calls at home, people saying they were going to kidnap me and use me as there virgin sacrifice to the devil on Halloween. Well, my mom and step-dad found out and on Halloween rather then us kids just going out or my mom going with us (this was back in the mid eighties and I had three older brothers and an older sister that went to she was fifteen and we lived in a town of like 500 people) my step-dad went with a bowie knife tucked away in his boot. I know it sounds hick, but it made me feel better that my bear of a step-dad was there to protect me. Nothing ever happened and we never heard anything else after Halloween night.
If you feel that your child may be getting threatened the first thing you need to do is talk to the child try to get them to confide in you. If that doesn't work you may need to go covert and get them to talk to someone that they trust and then get that person to tell you what is going on. Talk to his/her teachers, often they see alot of what may be affecting your child. It was my teacher that told my parents after she found me crying by my locker one day after school.

No one specifically did anything to me. But I did have some crappy times as a child. My father was murdered for one.

yes i was molested when i was 8 i told my parents but it was too late if something is going on then do something i wish someone would have done that for me when i was lil take action good luck and stay strong!!!!
