I have worked as a director of a child care center for 5 years and I promise, you are not the only parent who has had a mishap. Remember, nobody is perfect and you can only do so much. As long as everything turned out alright then just relax. What happened is not that big of a deal and for it to be made a big deal by the teacher was wrong. Don't let it bother you honey.

Wow. That's dumb that she would freak out like that. After all you have done for the teacher she should be willing to pay for the lunch. Hopefully she was just having a bad day and didn't mean to take it out on you. If she doesn't apologize, think twice about doing her a favor again. I hope your day starts getting better.

Teacher must be having a bad day.
You sound like a great mom, don't let her make you feel bad about it.
I worked in schools for a few years, that happens all the time, extra PBJ is no problem!! most of the time there is extra food and alot of it has to be thrown away anyway.
Enjoy the rest of your day.

Well, I hope your day gets better but try to let it go and don't let it ruin your day. Maybe the teacher was having a bad day. I'm sure lots of kids left their lunch on the came day. Happens eveyday- the lunch ladies are used to it.

Maybe shes just having a bad day and took it out on you, which is no excuse but better than taking it out on the kids. Sorry sweetie, I hope your day gets better.

Its OK. Maybe she needed to vent too. Dealing with kids all day is hard work. Don't worry about it just remember what my Mommy tells me when i get frustrated......

Mommies aren't perfect the are people too.

I can't believe that! That's just horrible! I think you should have told her to calm down...besides, don't you pay for her lunch? What's the problem?
