I've been lusting over this guy for ten years but hes one of my cousins best friends, so im kinda off limits to him. But at his birthday party he felt me up on the dance floor. My cousin said it was becuase he was drunk. but when i asked him how drunk he was, he told me he knew what he was doing. Is that a sign that hes interested? And if so should I go for it and just keep us on the down low?
Oh yeah hes in his thritys and Im in my EARILY twentys

Basically you've been lusting after this dude since you were a pre-teen. You finally get his attention because he's drunk and feeling you up while you're dancing.

If you're just lusting after this guy, I don't see what's stopping you. If you're looking for more, don't kid yourself.

Frankly, you should set the standard for your own conduct, and that of any guy you're interested in, a little higher. Unless you're into being felt up by older drunk guys.

Babe, if he knew what he was doing, and you're interested in him, then why not just ask him out for a date and see where it takes you.

You're cousin's opnion is kinda irrelevant, though you should bear in mind how he may be feeling if the pair of you do end up together.

From 20+ age differences are only as big a problem as the people involved want to make them - experience, maturity and experience are not bad things to find in a man!

At the end of the day, there's no point in standing in your own way if there is a possibility of being happy with this guy - you have nothing to lose from just asking him out, so go for it!

Good Luck :)

Just because he's a friend of your cousins...why does that make him off limits to you?? As long as he's not the cousin! If your both interested and feel a connection...age should make no difference. I would go for it and not worry about keeping in on the down low! Have fun!!!

Are you seriously kidding me? Ten years "lusting" that's ridiculous! What about love and respect! You apprently are not looking for something lasting if you're willing to let a guy "feel you up" and then talk about it on the internet! Also, who wants a drunk or even a semi-drunk guy? A really bad example for anyone on the internet especially teens and children!

i dont think your description of went on, on the dance floor is a reason to think he is interested. honey, any guy will do what they can get away with. they dont necessarily care or have an interest in you when they are doing things like that. so dont judge his interest on those terms. he sounds like a jerk. sorry but that is just the way i feel. find someone that will give you some respect. the age difference isnt anything to worry about when you are in your twenties. but his actions are to be worried about honey. hope you think about this. have a great day.

If he says he knew what he was doing then he's interested in you. You probably both have the same hesitation...you being his best friends cousin, but that shouldn't stop you from dating if you are both interested.

I would not keep your cousin in the dark, but I would never drag him into problems or fights because it would be a tough spot for him to be in.

I say go for it, but be sensitive to your cousin's situation.

You let some drunk 30-something feel you up on the dance floor?
Have you no self-respect at all?

You are interested in some guy who goes around feeling up women on dance floors?

So that's what I've been doing wrong all these years. Thanks, I'll go give it a try asap.

If you know him well and don't care about the reactions of your cousin and other family members go for it. If you do care about their opinion then you should take it easy.
